Publication in a prestigious journal FASEB

In cooperation with scientists from Karolinska institutet in Sweeden we participated in research project concerning characterization of superficial cells of articular cartilage. By means of molecular biology methods those cells were indentified as stem cells. Quantitative analysis of micro-CT data provided precise measurement of cartilage surface and description of shape changes of cartilage during development. Results of this study were published in the FASEB journal with impact factor 5,3, with an image from the article on the cover page.
