Joint AVIZO software development with Thermo Fisher Scientific

Our laboratory was able to establish cooperation with Thermo Fisher Scientific exactly with FEI SAS and the Konrad-Zuse Zentrum für Informationstechnik Berlin (ZIB). The cooperation is based on a signed agreement for joint development of AVIZO software. Furthermore, it is the development of a new module for 3D resolution evaluation for CT measurements and evaluation of metrological CT systems properties. The 3D resolution module will follow the procedure proposed in the American standard ASTM E1695_95. The CT system metrology capabilities module will be focused on the requirements of VDI-VDE_2630. This regulation is the only standard that states and characterizes the procedure for the accuracy of CT measurements evaluation. Under this agreement, the laboratory received the latest AVIZO 2019b for Industrial Inspections for two years with full support and updates to the latest versions.
