Images from our recent publication on the cover page of Journal of Bone and Mineral Research

The publication „Loss of Sprouty Produces a Ciliopathic Skeletal Phenotype in Mice Through Upregulation of Hedgehog Signaling“ originated from our long term cooperation with research group of doc. RNDr. Marcela Buchtova, Ph.D at Czech academy of Sciences.

The images of wild type mouse skull and mouse skull affected by mutation in Sprouty gene with applied wall thickness analysis created in our lab were published as a part of the figures in the above mentioned paper. These images captivated the attention of editors in the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research so much that they decided to publish them on the cover page of the November issue.
